Asset Tracking

We provide a comprehensive asset tracking service as an indepedant option or as a compliment to our PAT testing business. Asset tracking is helpful to all businesses across all types of industry, it can give you a clear idea of what equipment you have accross the business be it furniture, electrical equipment or fixed assets. 

 

After the initial site visit to work out an estimate for the job, a member of our staff will attend your site to begin the Asset Tracking register. They will affix to all items a unique ID number which will correspond on the report. Along with the ID number they will record

  • Item Location - location within the companies site
  • Type - item type
  • Make - item brand name
  • Model - item model/serial number if listed
  • Description - a full description of the item, including any marks/damage

 

Collecting all of this information will aid your business in

  • assigning a value to equipment if it is needed
  • assigning a maintenance schedule for the upkeep of all serviceable equipment
  • keeping an up to date Portable Appliance Testing register
